In a smoke filled room
In some hotel
Her dreams are being crushed.
As he hold another
Close to him
With no thought to her loss.
Another's sighs
Speed his pulse
As she sits all alone.
She isn't certain
He's turned from her
But deep inside she knows.
Each night
He returns
Later than the last.
Their love
Is just a memory
Locked far in the past.
As his fingers
Caress the other
She sets their home ablaze.
So in a smoke filled room
In some hotel
Is where he's going to stay.
