The poet needs a child’s eye,
a saint’s ear and an adult’s passion.
Sprinkled with a god’s patience and a devil’s luck.
Carrying the pain of the entire world,
and the joy of the simplest moment;
all wrapped up with a twinkle in the eye.
Author notes
I dunno...a bit...meh. Oh well....the very little I've done lately has just been total shit.
