you exist
if only in the shadows of my mind
and everywhere I look and smell and touch
your likeness has absorbed into my soul
your features soft and delicate
like melted coffee chocolates on my tongue
the walks I take in solitudes of mind
between the sky and forests of life's walks
are filled with memories of one I loved
her likeness forming in the earth, the clouds, the twigs
the bones of you
will keep their hold on me

This was great. I liked the last two lines the best out of them all. I look forward to reading more

This flows so beautifully. I think you meant solitude in line 7. Thanks so much for entering
