Daisy chain

branched chain like your heart --

carefully formed connections,

a loving smile,

     a kiss

holding hands across the distance,

moments spent in harmony,

strong bonds,

a link never to be broken

This is beautiful........a link of sunflowers could chain the entire world, that is if the entire world were up for peace and harmony. Nicely captured. Thanks so much for sharing and best of luck in the contest. Leance

    Beautiful
I love daisychains. They're so simple yet they can mean so much.
This is so sweet. Gives me an image of a teenage romance. Or maybe a childhood sweetheart
    Either way, I liked it.
Thanks for entering and best of luck

Never to be broken. I like that! It's a lovely poem. I remember the contest. You know it's hard, it gets so late that it's hard to write. The pressure is on you, yo write it, to get sleep, it can be over-whelming. I knew you could do it. There will be a contest this will be perfect for. Thank you for writing it!

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it Sometimes I find it difficult to think outside that irritating "box", especially so late at night. But there is really only one topic I want to write about and I just need to find a way to make the prompt fit

      Sappy? You bet
