Decipher

Not for the first time, and no doubt
Not for the last time, I sit
Still and staring, exploring
A world, I know so little about

But that’s why I keep sitting
Long, until nights become day,
And reverse once again
To learn something, anything

Pages go on, and words grow bigger
My understanding grows slow
But it builds to form something
It increases my want, and my need

Surely something can help me
Decipher these rules, and borders stretching far.
Pushing, I force facts into knowledge
In a desperate attempt to understand, to help

Author notes

old one, tidying my documents and found a few

Very thought provoking. This life is just a big enigma we have to decipher.
    Well done!
