My idea is one I've used before, but would LOVE to do again because it was so fun! My idea is to have a Villain-elle contest. That is, poems written in Villanelle form that must have a villain in the poem. You can check out my priors at my page.......

Here is the first Villanelle I ever wrote........
Shades of Nothingness
Try as I might, I can't progress-
a captive of this cursed night-
I'm bound to shades of nothingness.
Haunted by pain I can't supress,
a wingless bird dreaming of flight-
try as I might, I can't progress.
Not worth the time or hope, I guess-
there stands no witness to my plight.
I'm bound to shades of nothingness.
Too numb to feel, I must confess.
Confusion stands to blur my sight-
Try as I might, I can't progress.
Why seek an evasive caress?
To see the sun and all it's light?
I'm bound to shades of nothingness.
No chance against these weights, that press.
Can't muster up the strength to fight.
Try as I might, I can't progress.
I'm bound to shades of nothingness.

Excellent idea. Creative, and involving a classic form.
Except, you got it switched around.
