What stopped your life from
Slipping away?
What brought you back
From the brink of death
From the lost hope
The bottomless pit?
Was it your love of God
Your zest for life
Was it a song
Was it a memory of times gone by
Was your dream of love
Was it your tears you cried
Let me tell you now
For all its worth
Your saviour has come

If its not Jesus, don't worry
If its just love of life thats okay
Whatever saved you

Whatever loved you as you died
Was your angel?
Was it the Christ?
Was it your mother
Or the hope inside?
Did you believe it

So think about who you are
Whats important to you
Who is the greatest person
You ever knew?
Don't listen to preachers
