I close my eyes

It’s still burning so heavily on my lips
I only fantasize -
That makes me sad…

Tears falling on my sheets
My heart cut open – bleeds!

I don’t want to be covered with wet sheets
So, I need you to remember
That when I go to bed
I don’t like feeling sad
So, hold me in your arms so tender
I hate it so much, when my heart bleeds
You keep me warmer than thousand sheets together
I need to be covered with you
I want to fall a sleep in your embrace
I want to wake up next to your face
Don’t you want that too?
Together, together it would be much better.

This is a wonderful piece. I liked the repetition. It made the piece all that more stronger. You could feel the longing in this piece to share a life with someone else. Great Write!
