Bad Wolf Bay

And here she is, at Bad Wolf Bay
Wondering if she’ll be back with him today
She walks alone on the Norwegian shore,
Wondering if she can bear the pain anymore
Her wishes were answered and so he came
And she thought she’d be with him and everything would be the same
But all he came to say were his last goodbyes,
And a million tears it made her cry
She asked if she’d ever see him again,
He wanted to lie, to spare her the sadness and pain
But they both knew that they couldn’t be together
She understood her time with him was up forever
So she whispered “I love you”
Perhaps he was going to say it too
But he began to flicker, disappear and fade
And so she made a vow, if she had the chance, her soul she’d trade
And back in the TARDIS tears were in his eyes
And every now and then, people wonder what’s beneath the surface
What hidden sadness lies
