In your eyes I see my future, and the echoes of my past
With the promises of all I want to know
Liquid pools of perfect beauty where my biopic was cast
Where the wonders of the world are put on show
When your eyelids start to flutter I can feel my knees dissolve
Through your lashes I see tigers hunting deer
When you gaze back at me boldly I can feel the World revolve
But a glint behind the fire removes all fear
The intensity of passion that is hidden deep within
Sets a jungle rhythm beating in my heart
There are visions soft and saintly and still more of mortal sin
In your eyes I see the history of art
When I see them open widely I see fast and open roads
When they close I see a cottage with a fire
If they flash towards me slyly then the World around explodes
In your eyes are all the dreams that I desire
