Her eyes

Rich like leaves
Makes me believe
In the magic they possess
I must confess
They say it all
Without a stall
And light my way
Any time of day
Like an emerald gem
Brighter than the lights of my modem

  • Some of the best poems in history are short and simple. This works for me as I don't have such a good attention span anymore.
I like this one a lot Ms. Bloy.

Rhyme is fun! You did well for a first attempt, and you keep the meter pretty well until the last line. I love green eyes, too, especially when they flash fire.
