Heavens-humble-Plea

How my heart would give
What thy eyes fear to see;

The humble plea of Heaven;

Man’s splendor and creation

Present in the heart
Beloved soul of thee.

What heights
I would take thee;

To release your hunger
  thirst  and doubt

That thy might sip
Upon my passion;

Love, Forgiveness
And-fearless-mercy

The breath of life
Hailed unto thee.

Oh, How my heart
would give...

what thy eyes
fear to see;

~Passion~Passion~Passion~
 Exaulted-unto-thee

The humble plea of Heaven

Man’s splendor and creation.

Contest prompt: # 1-Passion
e a r s 2 h e a r y o u

Passion requires humility
much more than I ever imagined
or believed...honor, respect, sacrifice,
discipline, and humble knees.

Tender lessons I am learning
about Passion...
and some of them
are not at all comfortable indeed.

    A beautiful touching poem!

    The woman in the picture I have posted in my grand daughter. The child is my great grand daughter. I fear the things that could happen to them in this sinful world.
    Christ supplies the answer to fear. So does the Dalai Lama.
    I believe in Christ, but I also believe in the Dalia Lama.
    They both have much compassion for us.
    "Fear knocked on the door, faith answered, there was no one there."

    Wonderful write

    Great imagery! Your poem is awesome it speaks of Jesus love and compassion and His deep humility. I loved that you offer what God gives with opened eyes that were once blind you would give others to see that what they fear is Gods deep love for us. He sent His Son and were told to be like him. Lesson on humily!

    Thanks for sharing I realy needed to hear this, I can use more lessons in humility.

    Blessings to you!

    Gentleness comes to those who have learned they have nothing to prove with their strength. Love opens us to sharing who we are while receiving and celebrating who someone is. You gift us with a plea to take all of who we are and have Faith and all will heal and be good. Perhaps we can turn back the tide of narcissism and fear that hold most of the modern technical world in its thrall. I hope so.
    Love,
    Tom B.

    We should all be as humble an innocent child. They know nothing of the chaos this world contends with on a daily basis. I wish we could shield them from the pain, the insanity, and all the ugly the world sheds light on all too often. In those tears are millions of light years of trust. They are all we have and we sell them short much too often. I have a new granddaughter and she is a precious gem. Her parents love her and show her love always. That's all they need. You passion rings like a bell of hope here dear sister. I wish you well in this challenge.

    This is really beautiful and made for a wonderful read right now. With the tragedy of the last few days, I needed something to pull it together for me. I enjoy reading your work.
