Wayfarer Tales From Ear to Ear

The canvas seam split
As the waves rolled in stronger.
In lanes the grass salutes,
To each of the devils blowers.
Rocks clench for dear life,
Back and forth they strain.
Tumble, crash around a spray of mist,
Rallied upon a venomous spit.

Gulls fly through the sown stricken sky
Gulls flee their nests with haste tonight.

A lighthouse bears the warning shots
Towards a hazy eyed merchant as he rocks.
A cracked smile at edge of winters chill,
Ensues yet another beast at the hands of the wheel.

Gulls fly through the sown stricken sky
Gulls flee their nests with haste tonight.

Midnight, midday. The sun will come up, some will say.
Bright light, twilight. Wayfarer is home and safe, out of sight.
