There I was sitting calmly in the fridge
round and plump clearly smooth on the ridge
When a lady plucked me from my nice shelf
I screamed out loud I wanted to keep my health
When suddenly I was thrown in this pan
"Ouch it's hot in here this is not the plan."
I hear the liquid stuff around me sizzle
as I change appearance and start to fizzle.
I'm still round and plump but I'm not whole
I started to shrink as the lady poked a hole
She flipped me over with this strange thing
another sizzling this turn did bring
Okay now I am out of the fire
This lady is looking at me with desire
She placed me upon something soft and white
picked up a fork and I trembled with fright
I tried to scream, "You don't want to eat me!
The expiration date expired didn't you see!"
This lady didn't understand my sizzling words
I tried to spit at her with hot curds
I didn't stand a chance, she ate me bite by bite
now in scrambles I put up a fight
Something rumbles loudly right next to me
I'm splashed on the head with hot coffee!

I love it
ok..for a while i was thinking...eggs? but then i don't know if eggs are...plump...peach?..but then why are peaches fry? ...then i thought.. tofu? but who eats tofu for breakfast? ...donut?...at least it goes with coffee..lol... -

You were right the first the first time. It was an egg. They start out nice and round and plump, the good ones anyway, then they get cracked. But i didn't want to put that in there because it would have been an instant give away. As far as the coffee she washed down the egg with coffee.
