Fairies and Fireflies are allies because
they are born of laughter and light.
Might in numbers it grew
in a friendship that brought delight.
Because they follow Mother Nature’s laws
and are faithful and true.
Few can doubt
the reason why
their alliance bore ripe fruit.
Mute Fireflies mime what they say with their paws,
accented by their show of light.
Flight patterns that they flew,
in time, became a nightly rite
for Fairies and Fireflies to take pause
in everything they do.
Dew is out
‘neath morning sky
for flora to take root.
Suited best for woodland fair, how they thrive,
strive, live well as fine allies and survive.
Author notes
I'm trying out a new form created by Individuality on this site. It's called Individualtean.
I know fireflies don't have paws, it just seem to make sense in a fantasy sort of way.
Thank you.
