To the summer sun's vast golden rays,
for now I must say adieu.
Fall is here and it seems quite clear,
our time for now is through.
Chilly winds howling outside my window,
and leaves painting the ground.
Oh summer sun, sweet summer sun,
Why do you have to go now?
Shaking trees and falling leaves,
can only mean one thing,
work, work, work, to clean up the mess,
and barely anytime to be me!
Oh summer sun,
Vast........
Majestic.......
summer sun.
Oh how I do hate goodbyes.
But this seems to be the end,
my very good friend,
and until next year, adieu.

This is very beautifully written. I like summer in a way because I do not work during the summer. That is the only reason why I like summer. LOL I enjoyed the read!!! Thank you for entering my contest.
