Laying Siege (to your heart)

Resonating beauty in some paralelled desire, in the coldest of moments I leapt into the fire. I took on the demons and fought for angels sake, I crossed the river styx and took the sword from the lake. But all these trials for nothing as my innocence was lost to your wall, my siege had come to pass and I was left to take the fall.
