There once was a poet called Pam,
Whose muse was a pig called Sam.
Sam’s rhymes sounded quite bad,
Which was so fatefully sad,
Cos Sam’s now tasty bacon and ham.

Since you asked for it - I don't really think this is very good at all. The rhymes are bad. The poem is sad. Sorry - but I tried to leave without saying anything but the browser reminded me to comment.

I don't know why I never saw this but I am glad I found it. I didn't know you wrote limericks! This is so cool! What do I have to do to get you to write one for me?

Poor Sam!
How could Pam eat her muse?
You have written this so well! It is quite the layered poem.
