I watch you silently walk to the door
And as it slams

And I beg and plead my feet to flee
To run and fight to be by your side
To show you that I’m not just someone who can be waxed and waned with the tide
To show you that no matter where you go
I won’t just be blown
By the wind
When I said forever
I meant ever and ever and ever
Yet you seem to think I don’t say what I mean
So you intervene
And you stop what was just started
And you left me and my heart shattered
How can you sleep at night
Knowing I’m not by your side
How could you walk out that door?
And simply just not give a shit anymore?
I could never do that to you
Never leave you alone and heartbreakingly sad too
You obviously don’t love me as much as I love you.
