The sun shines down on the hills
As I clutch my box of pills
To keep me clinging on to life
Now that I have lost my wife.
But I know I shall survive
I am determined to live
To see the sunshine on the sea
I shall not go into eternity.

This is sweet. Short and sweet and to the point. It's so sad when one looses a loved one, especially a spouse that one is fond of. But moving on is the most beautiful thing a person can do.
Outstanding. Thank you for entering this in my contest
