Being a woman can be fun and it can be hard.
Sometimes if a strange guy in the park starts talking to you,
you have to be on your guard.
Hearing guys whistle can be embarrassing to no end.
And, you have to be careful about what signal you send.
But, mostly being a woman can be a great joy.
Sometimes we can be bold and sometimes we can be coy.
The feminist movement gave us the right to vote and make our voices heard.
A few of us in this world appreciate what those women fought for and
pursue our lives undeterred.
I look at this world and I see.
I am glad to be a woman. I am glad to be me.
