This journey
never should have
breached this road;
This partnership
never should have
lived on lies
and broken trust;
This insecurity
never should have
fostered itself on you;
This love
never should have
become so unbelievably, so suddenly, true --
But you would look
and see
and say I lie
If I were to tell
the depth of my thoughts, words, hopes...
Dreams.
I have been a disgrace;
I have played the disgrace;
I have made this bed to lie in.

This was a very deep piece you have written here. I enjoyed reading this though it was good. Had a amazing flow too it as well. Keep up the good work.

Kel, this is openly honest and plainly telling. I like the poem.
I was going to respond, but could not come close to the first responder. So, I leave it in his awesome response. For me, maybe next time.

This.
It was all a ruse;
An actress disguising her selfish objectives as "love".
A girl and a man
Meant to be so close
So very much in love
In their shared envisioned dreams
That they destroyed themselves from within each other
In reality, beyond their dreams, it seems,
Such deep love could never exist in a world
Consumed of such hurtful intentions and cold callousness
I find myself walking without my companion
Through these fall streets covered in dark pained colors
As she laughs at the poor boy who thought that
He had found someone who wanted him
As he, too, so lovingly longed for she
More than he cared for himself.
In the depths of his imagination,
Where the pain dare not reach,
They walked that path,
Forever lovingly
Together. -

This is a great response to the poet.
Well done.
