She stands on the edge of tomorrow,
time drowning at her feet.
Her mind struggles to remember,
but confusion is all she sees.
She watches in awe as the river
cascades off the rim of the world.
Surely it wasn't always like this--
or was it? She isn't sure.
She's tired of running and fighting,
weary of scheming and devising.
She bows her head and chooses,
to surrender to the Moon.
