Buoyed by her warmth,
secure in the cloak of our love
spun of dreams
woven of gold
these streets float by.
Every faceless figure I pass
I want to know
are you ok
are you in pain.
I carry with me the elixir to cure all.
I throw stars at your feet
to make the street lights shine
brighter than pavements of diamond.
I need to comfort you, world.
I wish to break down your walls
crumble your defenses
startle your blank eyes
with joy.
Look at me
then I will move on.
