I knew her
she was forever
frozen shaking hands
twin hearts beating
and in that silence
subtle sighs
scream together.
She was never
in the blink of an eye
damp warm hands
only one heart beats
a gentle summers haze
serenity breathes
alone I die.
And in a single stroke
of her gentle of hand
my life was spilled
as we had planned
And she left with a smile
as at last I looked above
was this the purest of sex
or was this unrequented love?
