of the ancient dank cellar,
ancestral home to a lineage
that spans the centuries,
shrouded in the mystery
and dark magicks of familial bonds.
‘Adeo mihi, meus atrum procur’
she whispers unto the umbrage,
breath before her face,
hands clasped in anticipation
as she awaits his return.
He bleeds from the penumbra
atop the antediluvian stone steps,
casting a watchful if not lustful eye
upon the crimson clad beauty
that awaits his advent,
a Shadow Man bound to servitude
for age old transgressions,
bespelled under aegis
of the Warlock’s hand,
impelled to eternal vassalage
of the alchemist’s bloodline,
‘til love finds him humbled
to serve by his own will.
So long has he waited,
a prisoner in his own mind,
lost to the motions of peonage,
yearning a freedom
that’s price defies his nature,
unknowing as his heart skips a beat
at the sight of his current mistress
and he obeys her whims
without question
or intrinsic contention,
that his subjugation
has long since passed…
‘Ego sum hic , meus era…’

Well done Fritz, one of your specialities with the superb wordage. You have created such a dark mood here but more of a love that defies time and space than of evil - or a nice ballance of both. Love the Latin whispers in the darkness bouncing off the dank, stone walls.

There is almost, an occult-like substance echoing here, with the utmost threat of from each sense in motion. I like the Latin distinctive, which brings about a sould from, well, at least 2000 in the past, and from a British point of view, I ask, wow, who must this woman hae been? Something for me to ponder on, for my book. Well done.
