They say change can be a good thing.

It was always the way you claimed
“You know I want you”
That I couldn’t resist
And caused the oh so pathetic butterflies

The way you’d ignore me
For weeks on end with no explanation
And yet I’d run back to you
Was what everyone was thought was weak

You were like a drug
Flying me to the sky
Then dropping me as low as I could go
But yet being so addictive

“Things will change”
I once told you
Half meaning it and half not
We both knew things needed to change

So here we are today
You’re no longer flying me to the sky
Or dropping me as low as I can go
And maybe I don’t even care anymore.

    NOT crap!

It's really good! I'm just a amateur, sure, but any writing that provokes deeper thoughts is a success!

    P.S.
It reminds me of the Twilight Saga! lol

I'm in shock... a guy that read Twilight, wow lol.

No I haven't...I'm going to wait until everyone gets over the fuss of it so I don't get into any debates about whether it's good or not
