There's nothing quite like comfort food and the southern dish you are serving in this nicely written piece, is just that.

So nicely whipped up, Susan.

Yup! Poetry and food...what a delightful combination for comfort! This is such a pretty poem; I love the way you've visualized the small pleasures of such treats.

Ah!
Food for poetry, and poetry for food: both good for the soul!
How very endearing a write! Homely and generous. And warm, like you are Precious Susan.
Your author page is just amazing. I am stripped to white and sunglasses
Summer soon, and the SA sun too harsh for my sensitive eyes, crying so easily of sorrow and of joy.
Thank you so much for not forgetting me.
Love to you, Friend.
