time rewinds
when i get lost in
space
where i see who i am
who i want to be
i look
again
into darkened eyes
i see
they are empty
where have i lost
my right of passage
this new life
the blind leading the blind
at this point
i am unsure again
my mind
or who it belongs to
when i wrap my hands around

again i am reborn
into silence
i swore
my lips would be stiched shut
carved into stone
yet the words creep
sliding past my lips
landing in the air
