Lunar Crossroads

To sit in the garden of heart
is to dwell in the darkness of youth
and ponder the essence of eternity.

How often I’ve heaved a sigh
awaiting answers from the heavens
that never seem to come.

Yet within this silence, I smile
knowing there are questions
much more important that mine

Sometimes I catch a glimpse
of them spanning the ethers,
targeting unwavering destinations

There my faith is renewed,
restored to a victorious crescendo
I’ve never failed to dance to
as nirvana passes by

The imagery to this was amazing! Very beautiful thoughts but longing for answers. I think we all have been there longing in a time of needs.
    My favorite lines were:

Yet within this silence, I smile
    knowing there are questions
    much more important that mine

    Show you have heart poet,
    Best Regards,

Dancing our way through live, meeting with little strife. Where is the true pathway? Looking towards the heavens from where no answer came. All questions are important...even mine.
I look forward to reading more from you. Challenging write!

A ) Absolutely Love the face in moon graphic! And the other one too! Dear God, please tell me there's not more!

B ) Abso-freaking-lutely Love the poem. I'm not so sure about there being more important ?'s than yours. If you have questions, you have reasons for wanting answers.....I've found it helpful (and frustrating) to look for them everywhere.

C ) Images, themes, words that floor me:

"To sit in the garden of heart"
    "ponder the essence of eternity."
"How often I’ve heaved" (this is definitely a fantastic drawing agent) "a sigh" (perfect complement to the original draw)
"awaiting answers from the heavens that never seem to come." Stunning how many people can relate to this.....
"Yet within this silence, I smile" Beautiful.
    "Sometimes I catch a glimpse
    of them spanning the ethers,
targeting unwavering destinations" Ummmm.....completely jealous of that entire stanza!!!!!
    "There my faith is renewed,"
"victorious crescendo" - lots of impact and imagination.
"as nirvana passes by" incredibly sad. "passes by" indicates a distance from the event, and there, the yearning.....

So, to sum it up, in short, LOVE IT. Love, Love, Love, Love it!

    Blessings,

    ~ ~ Janet ~ ~
