Upon your palms, I sure am ready to stutter myself
and to slam my worthless being against the staircases
of heaven to reach that crystal river of your
acceptance.
Be it so you wish me to crumble and agonize, I, myself
in hunger, beg for that which you're
delivering to my heart.
Lord,
I shall not misshape my own understanding
of your generous guidance for my
humble being.
My feet do slip and fall off the tracks you've sketched
but when my heart is set upon you,
all seems to blur but your face.
Thus,
beckoning my strength and faith, I accept
with the utmost thrill and pleasure,
the whips slapping my back
and
the fire that's burning my heart.
Lord,
my faith is whispering to me this echoing quote:
'Whatever is it The Lord places upon thee, it's for thee's own good and whatever The Lord invites to visit thee, it's for thee's own pleasure and growth'

BEAUTIFUL!!!
We as humans slip often throughout our lives, it is our nature to do so. The Lord though knows this and accepts our frailities and loves us for who we are. His main teachings were always compassion, forgiveness and understanding.

Such a beautiful piece.

I especially liked the opener:
"Upon your palms, I sure am ready to stutter myself
and to slam my worthless being against the staircases
of heaven to reach that crystal river of your
acceptance."
- such a knockout.
