a Wilderness Dream

In the wilderness
a brown jasper log cabin
built for two
A comfortable
and colorful home
Yellow gold
and blue sapphire furniture
Red rose quartz
and blue moon stone marble
in the bath room
Pink rose quartz
and purple amethyst
in the kitchen
The bed room was nicely done
in blue turquoise
and sky blue topaz
We go out the front door
to a swiss blue topaz stream
A two mile walk to a beautiful
white pearl waterfall
Fish are jumping
with green eyes of peridot
My deep bright blue zircon eye
looking for a fishing pole
The love of my life comes along
with his big brown canyon jasper eyes
Eye to eye
Thank you for the pole golden bamboo
they're biting good with ruby red zircon teeth
and coral jasper fins
A pale opalscent body
that shines like a rainbow
I am happy in this georgeous place
life is good
the way it should
be

A very enjoyable piece of poetry, I love the mention of nature's gem-stones. I collect them as a hobby, just because of their beauty. Peridot is one of my favorites your love for life is clearly visible. Keep dreaming. Very peaceful done. Thank you for entering the contest.
