but I know that I'm still unaware
of everything that lies in store
I'll write for you for countless years
the pages piling inches high
but the tales I tell will stay untrue
I know too well the reason why
I know the truth and deny it still
if you don't love me, let me go
yet still I can't convince myself
I'll never rid you from these bones

and the third stanza really stood out to me; the fourth stanza really brings it all together very well, and puts a lot of power, meaning, and emotion behind the whole piece. the last line is great, too! : )
