Grit grinds between teeth, bruises form over
endurance builds in time like smooth pebbles
at the bottom of the water rapids
Everlasting is the shape we create
Molding of the clay, masters always know
new sun, shines brightly, as dark clouds float off
mud sloshes underneath your body weight
Everlasting is the shape we create
Time can be endless, waste not gifts given
pertinence always punctures politeness
with your weary body at the day's end
Everlasting is the shape we create
Efforts are worthy, appraised by us all
a countenance of patients can bring forth
bounty, bearing beauty, in abundance
Everlasting is the shape we create
Author notes
this is the second option refrain, not my origianl. But both I thought were good and fit. I really couldn't decide between them in the end so I'm letting both stay to see which, everyone else prefers or likes!
What do you think of this refrain?

This creation sings of how our endeavors are shaped by that which is timeless and we become part of a greater vision than we can see. Each part necessary but none necessarily seeing the greater whole. Beautifully and wonderfully done.
