Positive Paganism

I never believed in the devil,
And therefore I never saw him.
(I think he was scared I'd see what he used to be.)

I always expected the best of people,
So that was usually what I got.
(I think they were afraid to disappoint me.)

I remembered the good points of the day,
Until that was what my days were.
(I never found it useful to call them 'bad'.)

I know what I am,
And thus become what I know.
(My perceptions, my religion, becomes my reality.)

Author notes

Positive paganism - it's funny how the newest science supports the oldest religion.

individuality is how God made us,
we are meant to embrace and not reject as we are all connected,
in the end we will arrive at the same destination
This is quite a refreshing and lovely addition to my contest
    Thank you
    God bless you my friend...
