Rush The Melt Down

A man writes a book
buys a tool with each
unemployment check.

Sells both
labor and book
makes his own way
without anybody over head
to say ...

              "Your fired"

A good employee
she worked a forty
every week
behind a desk
wearing her smile
have a nice day

Until ...

The day she got fired.

Clip, Clop, Clip, Clop
twenty, thirty plus
something she wiggled and giggled
her butt side sash sway
doing the boss that way.

The radio buzz
turned off, silence
too much work performed
behind the desk
another is let go
for the duty
she did not perform.

Too many days of
vacation it is said
to take a break
avoid the burn out.

An emergency break down
the write up in the school paper
teen-aged mentality
the super who never grew up
making the under class want to
gag.

No reason needed
it's the Maine law
no explanation,
no reason needed.

Your boss may just not like
the color blue.

Maine as well as California has a law in place where workers really have no rights. That piece of paper on the wall. Employee Rights? You might as well tear it off and throw it away for all the good it does. An employer does not need to give a reason for letting somebody go or firing them.

As soon as I find what number it is in the law books I'll write even more on this subject. You know what else is a crock!? That two week grace period we as employees are expected to give before taking another job. I say bull crap! We're not given two weeks why should they?

    NC has always been that way for the uneducated . Nursing was protected due to shortages .. I am not sure how everything else is... you go brother you go.
