Broken Memories/Mending The Past

Broken Memories by Gaby

You always promised the simple things

All the happily ever after endings

But they were never true

Did you ever really have a clue?

Of everything you were putting me through

I guess it was never something new

You let yourself fall and you let me down

Because there never was a golden crown

Or that glass slipper you promised me

It never happened, so I let it be

I’ve only had that poison apple

The part you did share

And now we both lay here

Sleeping endlessly with unkissed lips

And no charming prince

Mending The Past by Tien

No more am I the prince

Instead I am a forgotten being

If this truth is hard for me to convince

Then let me allow you to seeing

What was the reason for your love?

Was the castle all that you wanted?

My promises are as glass

Fragile enough to break within time

Now wander around soul less and hopeless

Waiting for my princess

One magical kiss

Will awaken this prince

To see beauty in all of the world

And live happily ever after with his girl

I still dream thus I still believe

For I have also kept my faith in fairytales
