We've both been badly hurt before,
Pain doesn't dull with time,
And yet you've helped me so much,
That cannot be a crime
A beautiful heart and soul you have
to help someone like me,
We've not committed any sin,
And love can set you free
I'm stuck out in this hellhole
and I don't get to see you,
I guess that really gives us time,
One day at a time is true
You take me to your church group
and make sure that I'm fed,
When I've been cold you've warmed me,
Just holding me in bed
Holding your hand's enough for now
but you know how it goes,
There's nothing that I want from you,
But with patience, love grows
Please tell me what you think

Hon, I am very glad you have Trevor in your life. I do so love your poetry even though it breaks my heart at times. But then, I am your Ma so it is bound to break my heart.

This is a heartfelt poem. It is good to see that you have someone to help you in your time of need. It is hard to go through problems like that alone. Well done.

Stunning
And it ain't no sin to be stuck in a hellhole. We skate on thin ice and when it happens you say "what the fuck." You crash through the ice with shiney blades that don't know nothin' about swimmin'. -c
