Rhyolitic bombs rain from the sky
Yet Basaltic flows as a river to the sea
Ash may rain from the heavens
as Andesite knows not which way it goes
A single neck stands where cinder once fell
But a shield forms the island where our pillows lie
Ash composites ash, from flow and tuff
And in the end, the earth is alive.
Author notes
Still working on re-finding my voice, while at the same time reviewing my knowledge of igneous rocks. I have a test tomorrow morning, so I thought this might be a helpful way to review. ^_^
