The Commerce of Peddling Poorly Made Goods to Queens

If there was a chance,
It wasn't to be.
He fucked it up-
He doesn't deserve me.

I am no one's understudy-
I speak with my own voice.
By picking both at once,
He has lost his choice.

I have all the world before me-
Everything I need.
I may have wanted his love,
But it's only a common luxury.
(All such things come cheap!)

Author notes

If any one can have it and it's only going to fall apart, is it worth the stress of purchase?
