Parking the Car

Perception was a persistent concern,
And poor ol’ Eunice just never had learned,
Her husband had always exaggerated,
Ever since they got married and consummated,
The length and the width of his ‘ding-a-ling’,
Which confused ol’ Eunice when measuring things.

Parking her car always gave her trouble,
To the length of the space, her car was double,
But her husband always said when things were tight,
“The firmer the fit, the more it excites!”,
She tried to force it in, but just managed to dent,
All the cars around her to a horrid extent.

So remembering her husband’s trick he applies,
She hopped out of her car and spat down the sides,
All over the panels till they were dripping with spit,
Then revved up her engine, determined to fit,
Like a bat out of hell, and a snarl on her face,
She finally succeeded to fill up that space.

Getting out of her car, her knees were shaky,
Her hair was a mess, her backside was achy,
The scene all around was a carnage of metal,
And all they could see once the dust did settle,
Was Eunice standing there covered in sweat,
A dreamy look in her eyes, smoking a cigarette!

A wonderfully funny piece that could not help but make me laugh so much. The Idea you used was just sheer brillliance in itself and I must admit, the ending was the part that really topped off the whole write. Such great humor coming from this corner. I loved it heaps. Thanks so much for the entry and the best in the contest.
