When I look into your face
Your eyes see me through distant gaze
When I taste your ruby lips
It’s someone else’s lips I kiss
When I whisper in your ear
No answer heard, when I’m right here
When I hold you close to me
I feel you here, in front of me
But when I look into your eyes,
You’re holding onto distant lies
When you lay your head to rest
It’s not me, your hands caress
Is it me or is it you,
Who dreams of love that isn’t true
Are we real or just a delusion
