From day one he’s captivated my mind,
He’s a mystery,
The perfect man I’ve been trying to find,
He’s loyal,

But he says that He cares too much,
He’s afraid to hurt the one he loves,
Even when he knows I’ll love him no matter what,
So I’m stuck in the friend zone,
Praying that one day,
Maybe he’ll change his ways,
