God,
this special gift you have given me
a new day
you did not have to allow me such
a precious gift
O' God, but you did
what work it must have taken to
paint for me another day
let me be gracious and kind, loving
and giving. Let my mouth speak
your praises and my tongue know
only your truths. let me be a tool,
a testiment to you O' gracious God.
Make anger pass straight away and
patience and understanding be mine
today, for you O' God have given
to me, the treasure, the blessing, the
gift of a brand new day!

So many lives have been lost that have made head lines recently.....some one dies every day. Patrick Swayze lost his battle with pancreatic cancer two days ago and my first thought was " it's too much to bear!" Too much sadness! I've been questioning my talent and wondering if I will ever become a published author? Soul searching and all that stuff.......God is the root of my world. His hand is everywhere and I've become overwhelmed with his glory as I struggle to walk through days filled with earthly " stuff." a dear woman at my job is suffering from breast cancer but she is abundantly filled with " FAITH." Her name is Patricia. If you believe in God and healing and the power of prayer ( as I do ) please pray for her ( and I'll gladly return the favor ) I've decided to give my talent to the one who created it. GOD!
