In the rain
your warmth
is all I need.

Caressed -in-
each others arms
-watching-storms

pass us by;
ever grateful
to be boldly alive.

Sipping upon
heavens splendor
slipping from the skies.

In the rain-
can you -hear-
my longing heart

softly sigh
wishing you
were near

and tenderly
close-
by.

    What a lovely poem a fragrant breathe of tender romance like the pecks of dewdrops on the lips ofinnocent blushing petals of a rosebud just unfurled.The write is picteresque and reminded me of stolen moments on wet mornings with the blessed rain drowning the moans of ecstasy we discovered.Thanks for this foray into hs memory lane.I love the rain.This write makes it a joy to behold.Thanks for sharing this onAP...

    A tender poem - I felt it got into its stride towards the end - in fact the ending was lovely - I liked it's simplicity - helped to convey the message and works well for the reader.

    ahhh I just love love poems, one never goes wrong with finding one or two, just too read, even if your a poet that never writes on this subject, that is what I consider the base of all what's good in life, and that is love..................a pleausre to read

    Tender, sad, beautiful and vey romantic. I absolutely loved the part of 'hear my longing heart', this created such lovely images of how painful it is to yearn for someone and can't be with them.
