Sunlight, Don't Cleanse Me Yet.

It's only 5 am and the sunlight has already started
pouring into our bed.
After a night of sweaty bliss the sun is ready to wash
the memories from our heads.
But, before I allow the sun's rays to steal something
I might miss,
I'll lean over close to you and give you the night's
last kiss.
And as my fingers slide back your hair to give myself
a better view,
You open your eyes to reveal to me that beautiful
brown hue.
I rub my thum across your eyelids so I can watch
your lashes flutter.
You grab my wrists so forcefully that it makes my
body shutter.
Pushing me back into the pillow you push your bodyweight
against my own,
And raise your hips just high enough that it could
make me moan.
Then you leaned down close to my ear so that you
could say,
"If the sun has come to wash these sheets, it can
wait another day."

most of the poems i write are love-poems, this one is very thought provoking, very erotic, yet there is no direct pointers to anything sensual, just sublime messages that allude to sensous moments, i loved the flow, i liked the clarity, and i really enjoyed the choice of words......the thought pattern is like mine, yet somewhat better.....if you get the time do the comparison, you'll be pleasantly surprised that someone is of like-mind!

again magnificent write, i only critiqued this to get 3 extra points, but having read it, i should be giving you 6! that's how much i like it!
