You scream at me to go
Leave you long behind
But your hands keep pulling me back to you
Even though the hatred in your eyes
Is clearer then the night sky
The chains wrapped so tightly around my heart
Barely letting me bleed out
Slowly;the blood dripping from where you've stabbed me in the back
So many times before
Wishing I could walk away
Forever
And knowing I never can
To blindly in love
I can never let you go
No matter how many times you knock me down
I'll always stand back up at your side
Ready to take another blow
Holding me so close
Whispering that you love me
I belong to you
Forever and always
Holding me down
As I try to pretend it's alright
But somewhere along the way
Your words whispered through prison bars
Well;they lost their charm

Thank You for Your Entry ~
I felt a sort of rush when reading this almost as though I was trying to run away from someone holding me as they tried to whisper their bullcrap through the bars -

Wow, really good. I liked it. And I really like the part " No matter how many times you knock me down I'll always stand back up at your side" that was a very good poem. Keep up the good work.
