As I sit here next to you I think about all the good times we’ve had
All the times we’ve laughed and all the times we’ve cried
We’ve spent so much time together, eighteen years to be exact
I look back in time and I remember all those times I hurt you, without meaning to, of course
Then I can’t help but to laugh at the things I did do on purpose
I’m glad I got the privilege to be your older sister
I wouldn’t have it any other way
Everyday you bring a smile to my face
And even when I don’t feel like laughing, you’re there
I hate to see you sad, and I hate to see you hurt
I rather have you dance around like crazy than see a frown on your face
Making friends is not very easy at times, we all know that
But hopefully you’ll see that I’ll be here for you no matter what
Even though you’re younger, you’re someone I look up to
This might sound crazy but sometimes I wish I could let go
And be a free spirit, and roam the place, just like you do
I look forward to many more laughs and many more cries
Hanging out with you has opened my eyes
Maybe, just maybe, one day I’ll make a good mom
All my life, I’ve worked so hard to set a good example
I hope I’ve been a good role model
I just want to say that I love you
“Stick Together” is all we know and all we’ve done
I hope we stick together for life…
What did you think

I think that's a nice letter to your sister. Now all you have to do is get her to read it. This reminds me of when I started writing... as with all things in life, you learn by doing so I hope you keep doing, and not let what others say keep you from doing that which you enjoy.
