World So Cold

We’re all living
In a world so cold
Filled with death and despair
War and destruction

Nothing is as it should be
Everything’s wrong
And falling apart around us

As we stand and watch it fall
With saddened hearts and
Guilty minds

Knowing we could have done something
And that it’s our fault

That the cries of the little children
And families torn apart
Fill the air
On this cruel dark night

Please tell me, why must it be like this?
