Undrunk

Cause your heart stopped beating

your lungs stopped breathing

and the coffee that you brewed for two

went undrunk

The clock kept ticking and the sun still rose

but you remained in your

sleeping pose

Your closed curtains kept out the

sunlight and your feeble limbs thougth

it time to sleep

I tapped at your door while waiting

on the porch for our morning

coffee

but cause your heart stopped beating

your lungs stopped breathing

and the coffee you brewed for two

went undrunk..

    TOUCHING!!!!

    Oh those mornings after a night with no sleep, way to much on ones mind, sleep just would not come and with the morning sun and coffee one falls into a dreamless sleep as they can just take no more.
